Why we call it a heist
Coffee Heist began at Teco Mall off Mombasa Road as Nairobi's Money Heist-themed café, and the city came for the coffee and stayed for the food. Coffee Heist Kilimani, on Timau Road, takes that idea further: good coffee and a proper meal under one roof, from dawn until late.
The menu runs to nearly 200 dishes and drinks: signature breakfasts, Somali-inspired plates like suqaar and kalaankal, steaks, pasta, pizza, and over fifty coffees and teas. The heist is the ordinary day we steal back for you, one plate at a time.
A day at the Heist
6:30am · First pour
Doors open, the espresso machine is warm, and the first English breakfasts leave the pass for the early meetings.
Midday · The long lunch
Suqaar, grills and pastas for the lunch crowd, with orders flowing straight from table QR codes and phones to the kitchen.
Until 11pm · Last plate
Pizza, burgers and a pot of Somali tea for the evening tables, with deliveries tracked all the way to the door.
